Twice a year, the University of Colorado at Boulder hosts a Design Expo inviting all engineering students to display their projects to judges, fellow students and the public. Each group of students has a client with a problem to solve, and are judged on design robustness, creativity and innovation. I’ve been asked to photograph this event twice, and it’s always fun to see how students think through and design their solutions.
